The Role:

Reporting directly to the Head of Sales , you will be responsible for achieving a budget by managing and driving profitable sales, margin and commercial terms in all Distributors, Direct and NHS accounts within a designated geographical region or market sector. This role requires the delivery and development of new business as well as maintaining existing accounts.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

· Achieve financial business objectives and deliver sales strategy as directed and agreed with Head of Sales

· Effective journey planning

· New business development with agreed plan

· Execute promotion plan to all customers

· Effectively manage database of all customers and targets

· Enforcing and managing terms agreements.

· Develop and manage customer partnerships

· Customer issue resolution

· Generation of new product improvement feedback from market knowledge

· Planned and disciplined NPI launches.

· Deliver sales presentations, negotiate, and deliver business plans

· Source and share knowledge of existing and emerging customer needs and requirements into commercial business plans

· Attend Conferences, trade shows and meetings as directed by the requirements of the business.

· Manage customer communication and to be flexible in approach.

· Awareness of market dynamics to meet customer and profitability requirements

· Evaluation of promotional activities

· Weekly/monthly sales calls and forecasting input and evaluation of business plans

· IBP – accurate forecasting as part of demand planning.

· Achievement of KPO’s

Key Performance Objectives:

1. Delivery of internal budgeted sales, trade investments and net margin targets

2. Effectively target new business opportunities and communicate progress on a monthly basis

3. Measurement and improving Return on Investment of commercial activities

Essential Skills and Experience:

Must have:

· 1-2 years UK Medical market experience

· Good understanding of UK Medical market

· Development and delivery of sales strategy

· Demonstrable attention to detail in delivering business plans

· IT Literate of Microsoft Office

· Strong numerical and analytical skills

· Promotional planning

· Good negotiation and presentation skills

· UK Driving Licence

Preferred:

· Track record in growing business with new and/or existing portfolio of accounts

· Degree in business, marketing or similar

· Trained in sales negotiations and planning
