Territory Manager, reporting to the Regional Sales Manager. Responsible for generating new business and developing existing business within the territories for ostomy care.
Responsibilities
- Contribute as a member of the sales team, to the formulation of the overall Strategic Plan for the business
- Manage relationships with all Stoma Care departments in Acute Trusts in line with the business sales strategy and Annual Business Plans
- Promote the use of company products to Stoma Care Nurses in hospitals and health clinics to increase sales and market share
- Using market place & competitor knowledge develop, agree and achieve the annual and cycle territory sales targets
- Manage, negotiate and develop business opportunities in all accounts
- Produce annual promotional plans for accounts in conjunction with the Sales Manager and Product Manager and within agreed budget guidelines
- Ensure that all major accounts files are maintained and regularly updated
- Analyse the territory features and determine a plan for the most effective coverage through selective account targeting
- In conjunction with Key Account Management and Sales Manager identify and implement product conversion campaigns with selected DACs
- Regularly liaise with the National Sales Manager, Product Manager and Marketing Manager
- Keep up-to-date with changes in stoma care practices and in Primary Care Trusts and Acute Trusts activities as relating to the provision of stoma care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date account profiles and records
- To maintain and develop own knowledge of competitors and products and share awareness with all colleagues
