Location
This pivotal role will focus on forging new partnerships as well as fortifying existing relationships, driving sales growth across the Midlands/ North England. You should be based within the target area.
The Role:
Reporting to the UK Sales Manager you will aim to develop new business and grow existing customer relationships. Although you may be given some existing clients, you will also need to prospect for new clients across a variety of channels. You will be responsible for arranging customer meetings and preparing proposals and presentations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
· Drive the acquisition of new client accounts, creating and delivering on strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities.
· Manage the sales process from lead generation, and proposal through to contract negotiation and deal closure involving other resources as appropriate.
· Maintain and develop relationships with current clients.
· Pitch to new and existing clients
· Attend conferences and events to build relationships with industry partners and stay current with new trends.
· Collaborate with marketing colleagues to help build and deliver strategic ABM campaigns.
· Contribute towards developing scalable processes for growth-generating activity.
· Develop a strong understanding of the company’s offerings, the competition in the industry and positioning.
· Support new team members for business development and account management
· Provide account and client management for ongoing engagements supporting growth and client satisfaction.
· Maintain and develop the opportunity pipeline for new and existing accounts.
Ideal Candidate:
· A strong successful personal business development history involved in account development, new business hunting and effective cross-selling to fully penetrate sales opportunities with existing and prospective accounts.
· The ability to develop new and building account relationships to consistently achieve and exceed business goals and results.
· Self-directed with the ability to effectively plan and document daily activities including appointments, customer call-backs, new contacts, prospect user calls, etc.
· Ability to effectively work in an agile work environment using a variety of communication tools to engage with new or existing clients.

· Experience in selling into a variety of vertical markets, including NHS Trusts, Sexual Health Service Providers, Retailers and trade wholesalers

· The ability to articulate the benefits and USPs of PHL products.
· Relationship orientated – able to build confidence by operating openly, with integrity and personably at all times.
· A keen interest in industry-related topics.
· An inquisitive nature with the ability to create and explore opportunities wherever they may present themselves.
· Experience in building a sales pipeline.
· Experience in influencing people at all levels, internally and externally
· Excellent presentation skills.
Desirable
· Experience in the healthcare or medical device markets selling clinical, regulatory products with a knowledge of regulatory operations.
· Experience in using Navision CRM to facilitate scalability.
· Experience of using an ERP system.
