The Role:
The company are currently recruiting three Business Development Managers to form a newly created team focused on the acute sector. . The team’s sole focused will be selling to the NHS and driving growth via account acquisition. These are key positions within the organisation and will play a critical role in the company’s growth strategy in the coming years. Some of the key duties are as follows:
· Deliver the companies monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets and implement the managements sales strategy.
· Develop a robust pipeline of opportunities and manage a sale from start to finish.
· Develop relationships with key personnel within our customer base.
· Sell the complete product and servicing range to all customers as appropriate.
· For all potential customers, identify all those involved in the decision making process relating to the purchase or rental of equipment, ascertain products currently in use and produce action plan in order to increase revenue.
· Complete and maintain the company’s CRM system on a daily basis.
· Update the territory Blueprint on a monthly basis, this will become the backbone of the territory.
· Use the territory Blueprint to Identify and closely monitor contracts and prioritise where and when activity is needed prior to tendering.
· Report directly and work closely with National Channel Manager to develop future business. Undertake a Quarterly Business Review to ensure focus.
· To be responsible for setting up and monitoring evaluations in accordance with the evaluation procedure.
· To feedback on territory and competitive activity to the National Channel Manager so as to ensure that the company can plan and respond accordingly.
· To attend exhibitions and study days as agreed by National Channel Manager.

The candidate will ideally have two year experience within medical devices and will have the following skill set:
· Self-driven, motivated and results oriented.
· The ability to communicate at all levels of an organisation both externally and internally.
· Creative thinker with a willingness to offer solutions.
· Strong territory management.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
· The ability to understand and implement new sales strategies.
· Good understanding of the NHS structure.
