Job Purpose:

Responsible for implementing the company marketing strategy. This Product Manager role is to be the company product expert, with a product portfolio covering pressure area care, Safe Patient Handling and Bariatric Products. Working collaboratively with all internal and external stakeholders across the wider team to increase market share, gain customer insight, increase brand awareness, product launches, new product development and support the meeting of business objectives and targets set by the company.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

•Develop product pricing and product positioning strategies.

• Scope and prioritise activities based on business and customer impact.

• Drive product launches

• Gain product expertise in both manufactured and third-party product lines

• Support sales function day to day challenges and opportunities

• Educate internal stakeholders regarding products and messaging.

• Manage the marketing budget.

• Evaluate promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed.

• Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding.

• Represent the company by visiting customers to solicit feedback on company products.

• Working with the Managing Director regarding KOL programmes

• Linking in with Clinical members of the team to create evidence around the portfolio.

• Attending internal and external customer events.

• Any other duties as and when required by management that are reasonably within the capabilities of the person and are aimed at achieving the company’s objectives and goals.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

• A strong collaborative team player with an ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

• Passionate about Marketing and Healthcare

• Able to influence & persuade when presenting ideas and plans.

• Skilled in identifying solutions, planning and organisation.

• Commercial & Business Awareness.

· Marketing skills and strategic thinking.

· Communication and presentation skills; speak and write to a high standard, storytelling of products for various channels and present convincingly to all stakeholders.

· Customer focused; build customer personas by understanding customer needs and behaviours.

· Technical expertise: Develop unique selling points of products.

· Research and analytical; gain customer insights and market intel via focus groups, sales analysis and networking

· Ensure behaviours are aligned with Company Core Values at all times
